Lisa K. Sussman, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist practicing in Boston, MA. She is currently working as a clinician with the Health and Wellness program at the Boston Arts Academy (BAA). She earned a doctorate degree in Psychology from Northeastern University and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Harvard University (Cambridge, MA).
Serves as a member of the BAA Foundation Board of Directors, and served as chair of its Nominating and Governance Committee.
She practiced as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick, MA in the partial hospital and inpatient therapy programs. She also has clinical doctoral training experience at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, in Boston, MA, and UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA. She has expertise in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, counseling young performers in the performing arts, and obesity and disordered eating. She is a passionate musician and the mother of three sons.
