As a division one collegiate athlete, an agile learner, a corporate leader, and a mother of two, Annica understand the benefits of having good health. Healthcare inequities further disadvantages those who are already fighting against a multitude of injustices. More has to be done.

Annica MacDonald’s career in Human Resources (HR) began while working for The Partnership, Inc., where she managed leadership development programs that helped Boston area organizations build racially and ethnically diverse leadership pipelines.Annica’s interest in inclusion and diversity was built upon her personal experiences as a child of an African American father and a Caucasian Swedish mother. Her multi-racial and multi-cultural upbringing enabled her to understand and value differences in others. She’s incorporated those life experiences into her leadership approach and is constantly challenging herself and others to understand diverse points of view.
