Frank M. McClellan, JD, LLM is Professor of Law Emeritus of the Beasley School of Law of Temple University, where he concentrates on health care law.
I joined the Augustus White Institute for Healthcare Equity to continue to advocate for healthcare for all patients and to continue my work of bringing awareness to the need for healthcare equity.
Professor McClellan is the author of Healthcare and Human Dignity: Law Matters (Rutgers University Press 2019). Professor McClellan has published numerous law review articles on subjects related to health care law, torts and civil rights, and an award-winning book titled Medical Malpractice: Law, Tactics and Ethics (Temple University Press1995). He is the co-author of a casebook on tort law published through five editions.At Temple he teaches courses in the law school on bioethics, medical malpractice, and torts. Professor McClellan has lectured regularly in interdisciplinary courses at Temple Medical School and the Temple Department of Urban Bioethics.

Professor McClellan is a graduate of Rutgers University, earned his JD degree from Duquesne and LLM from Yale Law School. He is a member of the Board of Directors of The Aids Law Project of Pa., To Our Children’s Future with Health, Inc, and the national steering committee of Movement is Life He is a former member of the NIH, Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and the Board of Directors of Philadelphia Fight. Professor McClellan is a member of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia bar associations He is also a member of the American Law Institute and the American Board of Trial Advocates
